When you were a kid, swimming was probably simple. You just threw on your suit and cannonballed into the pool with your friends. If the swim portion of a triathlon were only that simple! Unfortunately, cannonballs are usually frowned upon at the swim start. You’ll also need more than just a swimsuit if you hope to swim with the pack. Luckily, Urban Tri carries everything you’ll need for swimming in the pool or open water.
Because most triathletes do at least some of their swim training in the pool, we carry all the equipment you need to hit the pool alone or with your local masters swim team. We stock Speedo and TYR swimsuits, goggles, swim caps and ear and nose plugs. If you’re looking to step your workouts up a level, we also carry pull buoys, fins and hand paddles. We can even outfit your kids with TYR goggles and caps so you can bring them to the pool with you.
Although you can compete in a triathlon with just a swimsuit, cap and goggles, adding just a few key pieces of gear can make you faster and more comfortable on race day.
