This Saturday Urban Tri’s Pedal For Pancakes ride will leave the trainers behind and hit the road. We will be meeting at the store at 9:00 and after some paperwork and a review of group riding rules we will be off. This will be a moderately paced ride with several stops to regroup. Riders of all abilities and fitness levels are encouraged to join in. If you can’t make the start time at the store we are providing a map of the planned route so you can find a convenient place to join the group.
Some items to keep in mind. Riders are required to follow all Minnesota traffic laws. Helmets are absolutely required. Road bikes are encouraged, but triathlon bikes are welcome. People riding tri bikes are required to stay on the brake hoods and may not ride in aero bars for the safety of all participants. This is an unsupported ride so be sure to bring enough fluids and nutrition and be sure to have equipment to change a flat.
